Caroline Healey is a painter whose seascapes, landscapes and skies of South West Victoria show her keen observational skills through exuberant vibrancy of colour, light, texture and form.
Not merely depicting what she sees but infusing each work with a heightened sense of vitality and the natural elements, Caroline’s paintings often draw inspiration from her immediate surroundings.
Most recently, in April 2021, Caroline showed her work with contemporary artist Tim Freeman. In January 2020, Caroline held her second solo show at The F Project, Warrnambool. Her first solo show was held in 2016. Every artwork of Caroline’s has sold at these three exhibitions.
A highlight for Caroline was in 2019 when Bendigo Bank commissioned a 3×2 metre mural for the Warrnambool branch. Another was in 2016, when Epworth Healthcare purchased a six-metre long painting of The Twelve Apostles by Caroline for the newly built South West Regional Cancer Centre.
Caroline has won several art prizes and exhibited in many group shows.
