Wendy was born in Beijing, China and now resides in the beautiful arts capital, Melbourne. “Painting has accompanied me for more than 40 years, and it seems to have become an indispensable darling in my life,” she says.  

“During the time I was living in Beijing, I was lucky enough to pursue a career, meticulously designing jade carvings and paintings. 

“Having lived in Melbourne for many years, I know that the natural  scenery and vast sea here can most resonate with my soul and inspire unlimited creative inspiration. Here, I use oil paintings and sketches to  record the bits and pieces of my life, evoking my mood and ideals.” 

Wendy’s work is a Ford Thunderbird, originally created using acrylic paint. It was done for a friend whose hobby is collecting vintage cars.
