I am a self-taught Geelong-based visual artist. My current work aims to capture the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Having once pursued a career in Marine Biology, I take inspiration and reference from images of marine mammals I captured during my research. I have also always had a fascination with horses, which feature in many of my recent works. I like to paint miniature artworks that include tiny details that can only be viewed at close range. My medium of choice is oil paint on wooden panel, and I am constantly adapting my painting techniques to achieve a high level of detail in my work. I strive to create paintings with depth that evoke a sense of wonder and invite the viewer into a miniature world.
