Simone is a Warrnambool-based artist reemerging with fresh images exploring light, shape and movement. Trained in fine art, she often paints with a bold chiaroscuro palette, creating contrasted moments of settling into stillness.

In the 1990’s, Simone pursued careers in leadlighting, graphic design and muralism. Once adorning walls and ceilings with large-scale exterior and smaller interior murals, she now works on canvas and paper with acrylics and pencil.

Professionally, Simone works under her maiden name and is otherwise known as Simone Carroll Di Cesare.
