Mark Bagally lives in Torquay and is a full-time artist who works in both oil and watercolour. He is a representational impressionist painter with a preference for working from life, in the great outdoors (en plein air) and regularly travels around Victoria and New South Wales in pursuit of that passion. In 2023 he embarked on a year long project of completing one painting every day for a full year with all 366 works being the subject of a highly successful solo exhibition at the Victorian Artists Society (VAS) galleries, East Melbourne in 2024. 
Mark is a former President and councillor and a current Fellow of the VAS. He is a former National Vice President and current exhibiting member of the Australian Society of Marine Artists (ASMA). In addition, he is a member of both the Watercolour Society of Victoria (WSV) and the Australian Guild of Realist Artists (AGRA). 
Mark is a founding member of the Brandon Circle Melbourne, a group of representational painters who are gaining recognition in the Melbourne art scene. In both 2024 and 2025 the Brandon Circle have been invited as guest exhibitors at the Camberwell Art Show.
