Michèle is a multi disciplinary artist covering painting, drawing, photography, clay and lino printing. Subject matter is varied however the mix of natural and built environments, boats and the ocean hold particular interest.

There is beauty in the constructed environment when it combines and balances with the natural environment.

My style is a playful and energetic and often utilises bright bold colours and montage of the world around me to capture the essence of a scene or moment.

Whilst in high school my painting “The Telephone Box” was awarded second prize in the student section of Royal Over-seas League Art Competition, which helped me believe in my expression.
For two consecutive years in Kingston Council’s annual “Artz Blitz” my work inspired one of the writers to base their poem upon. To see the direct impact of art on art is a great feeling.
