Ivan is a freelance photographer based on the Bellarine Peninsula. Working as a freelance photographer has allowed Ivan to work across many genres of photography.

A strong passion for portrait photography has led to photography assignments in theatrical productions, music gigs and artist promotions, events and portraits.

Ivan is continually driven to experiment in different aspects of photography to add diversity to his images.

As the lead photographer at the Geelong Independent and the Ocean Grove Voice newspapers, Ivan takes photographs for news stories, events, the arts and sport.

This photograph captures actor Barry Tudor after a costume fitting for the immersive

theatrical play Roaring, which played at the Vue Grande hotel, Queenscliff in June 2024. The play was set in the 1920’s and I set out to create a colour palette that would not be

out of character for that period.

Landscape – Temecula Sunset

As I stood alone, watching the sun make its way behind the foothills at Temecula, California, I felt the changing beauty that was unfolding in front of me.

My aim with this image was to capture serenity and solitude of the moments before the sun disappeared, along with the wonderful colours from the last moments of light.
