Art has always been a significant source of joy for me.My appreciation for art and design began in secondary school, influenced by the impressionist prints and art books that adorned my childhood home.After a fulfilling career in the wine and food industry, I found it incredibly rewarding to revisit my artistic pursuits and reignite my passion for the art world.In 2015, I retired to the Bellarine Peninsula, where I now enjoy daily artistic experience enriched by the coastal environment. My love of food and wine is being reflected in one particular style of my artwork, which resonates with my passion for culinary arts.  Additionally, I take pleasure in painting local scenes, landscapes and scenes that capture the beauty of the Bellarine PeninsulaOften by my side in my art studio is my charming spoodle, Woody, whose presence fosters a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. It brings me immense satisfaction to create pieces for people that resonates with others and evoke a sense of connection and enjoyment.

Acrylics are my preferred medium.Enjoy the versatility of this medium and believe I gain good colour, depth, perspective and sometimes texture to my paintings. My style is every changing; however, I enjoy minimalist and realism.Acrylics give a crisp edge to masked paintings, a smooth blend to colours and is very flexible, either using a paint brush, palette knife or creating a thick impasto image or thin coasts give watercolour look to a painting.Delighted to have been involved with several art groups at Queenscliff, Barwon Heads, and is more recent times Springdale Art Group Drysdale and Artisans of Australia, Curlewis. Committee member and Secretary for North Bellarine Arts Trail 2022- current
