Art gives me tremendous pleasure.
I am a local artist on the Bellarine Peninsula, now a permanent resident at Indented Head for over 10 years, I have always had a love of painting and creativity.
Previously my background was in catering, sales, marketing primarily in the wine and hospitality industry, local, nationally and internationally.
My love for food and wine is now been portrayed in one style of art I now create, echoing my passion for cooking. However, living on the Bellarine, I enjoy painting local scenes, landscapes, wine related and still life, however food style paintings is my passion.
Studied art and design at secondary school however mainly self-taught.
Lisa O’Keefe was a great mentor and influence for my art when I attended her classes in Melbourne.
Travelling overseas and visiting art galleries is another passion of mine. During my younger years our home was full of Impressionist prints and art books.
Acrylics are my preferred medium.
Enjoy the versatility of this medium and believe I gain good colour, depth, perspective and sometimes texture to my paintings.
