Georgie is an Australian-born photographer who lives on the Mornington Peninsula. Her passion for photography has resulted in numerous accolades throughout her photography career, showcasing her dedication to the craft and the impact of her work.
Georgie has travelled globally photographing subjects from various continents – from camping on the shores of a lagoon in Baja California Sur, Mexico to witness the gray whale migration; traversing the Patagonian mountains; camping on the Galapagos Islands; expedition ship travel to Antarctica; searching for polar bears in the Canadian arctic tundra; traveling through the wilderness of Alaska; zodiac cruising with orcas on Vancouver Island; and swimming with whale sharks, humpback whales, and great whites on our very own coastlines. She resided in Canada for four years, which inspired much of her photographic journey and passion for wildlife.
In 2019, Georgie was the recipient of Heritage Expeditions True Young Explorer Scholarship and travelled to the UNESCO World Heritage Subantarctic Islands as part of the Galapagos of the Southern Ocean voyage. Here she was able to photograph many rare and endemic species.
She has previously exhibited at the Frankston Arts Centre with her Antarctica exhibit, Terra Incognita, and was a contributing artist in the 2024 Art on the Pier Queenscliff Art Prize exhibition at Queenscliff, Rosebud, and South Melbourne Piers.
She is excited to be exhibiting once more, showcasing the impressive mountainous landscapes of New Zealand, and the incredible aerial acrobatics of the humpback whales along Australia’s east coast.
