Liam Oakwood has been traversing wilderness from an early age, from the storm wracked savannah of the Northern Territory to the lush slopes and rainforests of the great divide, and the rugged mountains and rivers of Tasmania/lutruwita. Somewhere along the way they started taking photographs, and have developed a growing audiovisual practice with an eye to threatened places, narrative framing and small details of light and nature.
