Over the past 12 years my love of painting has developed into an almost fulltime activity. Once I was able to dedicate the time to it and explore numerous techniques and painting styles, my skills improved and I was hooked. I have successfully exhibited as a solo artist and in joint exhibitions, art shows and galleries throughout Adelaide, South Australia and also Victoria.

Whilst many of my paintings (which can see viewed on the links below) are familiar landscapes referenced from photographs I have taken, it is always fun to try something new. Last year my entry “Gustav’s Girls” celebrated my love of bright bold colors and patterns. It became part of a small series of quirky animal paintings.

This year’s Queenscliff entry “Golden Girl” is one of several portraits I have completed in the last 18 months where repeated patterning and colour is integrated into the work.

“Golden Girl”was awarded 2nd prize in Redtail Gallery Art Competition in 2023.
