I have been involved with the Arts as an Art teacher and a potter and painter over a long career. With Latvian heritage, creativity is always high on the agenda to express ideas. Living along the Surf Coast with access to the Otway Ranges there is never a shortage for inspiration. The last decade has seen an explosion of large works on canvas depicting, figures, abstracts, as well as everything reflecting the environment. Travel and camping trips into the wilds of Australia and overseas have also been great inspiration. Mixed media, textures and colour abound.
