THE OTHER SIDE – PRINCESS PIER

My passion for water has led me to the serene pastime of kayaking on Port Phillip Bay.

Embracing the unpredictable allure of nature while navigating the waves or still waters, I found myself captivated by the textures, raw simplicity, and hidden charms of ‘the other side of the pier’.

Combining my love for kayaking, water and photography, I set out to capture a unique perspective of Princess Pier, showcasing its weathered pilings, vibrant hues of algae, captivating reflections, and the ever-changing colours influenced by the elements.

Through my photographs, I aim to unveil the beauty and tranquillity of ‘the other side’ of Princess Pier at Port Phillip Bay, as seen from the vantage of my moving kayak.

GIRAFFES IN THE WILD FROM PRINCESS PIER

A distinctive viewpoint emphasising simplicity that provokes imagination.

Captured from Princess Pier, Port Melbourne featuring the imaginary concept of ‘giraffes in the wild’ with a focus on conveying the beauty and tranquillity of the bay during sunset.

A thought-provoking visual story driven by individual imagination.
