Ingrid grew up on a farm on the outskirts of the small township of Binalong NSW. As a teenager, Ingrid showed an interest in photography, particularly trying to capture colourful sunsets in the rural environment. Even though Ingrid had this interest she never completed any photography courses or formal training in this area.

It wasn’t until many years later when her children were in their late teens and she regained some leisure time for herself, her partner bought her an 8 week photography course as a birthday gift. This course reignited her photography interest. Since that initial course, Ingrid has continued to develop her photography knowledge and skills with further training courses.

Ingrid is now a passionate landscape and nature photographer. She combines her love of photography and travel together, capturing Australia’s beautiful land and seascapes. She has also been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel overseas to many popular and highly sought after photography locations including both the Antarctic and Arctic.
