Jenny Wood is an artist and illustrator from Safety Beach on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria who has a passion for quirky, whimsical and classical fine art and ceramic sculpture.
During 12 months of treatment for breast cancer Jenny had the opportunity to re-evaluate her life. Using art as a relaxation tool was undoubtedly the catalyst for career change and after leaving her job as a computer geek, she discovered art and illustration were her calling.
Using her newly found respite in fine art, Jenny found an avenue to express the positive outcomes in an otherwise traumatic encounter.
Jenny has illustrated 12 children’s books, taught drawing workshops, participated in 12 solo exhibitions, many public art shows and won several awards.
